At this seminar Amitai Romm, from Diakron, Denmark, will present the transdisciplinary research and practice at Diakron, and together with his colleagues Aslak Aamot Kjaeruff och David Hilmer Rex we will discuss how new types of organizations are shaping the emerging landscapes of research, ideas and cultures (of art, science, politics, economics, technologies, etc.).

Diakron is a platform and studio for transdisciplinary research and practice. It establishes collaborations across disciplinary backgrounds and institutional frameworks. The backgrounds of the founders are composed of experiences from artistic practices, curatorial practices, social sciences and graphic design.

Diakron is currently working on a project titled Hybrid Organizations. The project is an effort to re-think the future of the Danish welfare state, and state and enterprise apparatuses in general (in collaboration with the Danish Building Research Institute and the Danish Ministry of Immigration, Integration and Housing (formerly: Danish Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Affairs and four other artist/researcher-founded organizations based in Denmark).
